It has been a long long long time indeed. Look at all these kind and faithful deviants stopping by my stagnant page to stare briefly at the same damn pictures that were there three years ago.

Hmm... perhaps an explanation. I enjoyed being part of deviant art (even the forums and particularly enjoyed the nice people I met. I really enjoyed finding such a diverse community of artists all trying to create and support and encourage other artists to do the same - devART seriously rocks if you haven't already noticed.

However, being a somewhat addictive personality it began to take up some serious time. Little Eliza being born was like 2 weeks in drug rehab for a confirmed junky - I kicked the DevARt habit.

This meant I spent more time with my family and all three kids, particularly the little one. That was even more fun than deviantART - believe it or not.

So, gradually the weeks turned to months and the months turned to years. Before I knew it it was the end of 2006 and I hadn't been on for over three years.

Major slackness indeed.

Anyway, now I have a camera once more - an old nikon F60 and a couple of lenses, nothing fancy. I know I'm a dinosaur. I'm keen to get into this digital revolution - if only because my scanner is stuffed. So, I'll try to start putting some stuff up from time to time.

I'll also be working through the 51,465 messages, deviations and journal entries that are waiting in my inbox and generally repaying some of the kindness shown by all you crazy deviants.
